Overview

The Lending/Insolvency team provides advice on all aspects of banking and financial services, both in good times and bad. Our lawyers are engaged as senior counsel by a number of Canadian, U.S. and international banks on lending, enforcement and bank regulatory issues. In addition to banking and financial institutions, our lawyers work with Crown corporations, lenders, private and corporate borrowers, leasing companies, and both domestic and international companies.

Members of the team were involved in the redevelopment of the downtown Vancouver waterfront and former Expo ‘86 lands. They have experience representing clients in the the acquisition by various income trusts of existing retail businesses. They have also acted for Schedule III Bank and Crown Corporations in multi-million dollar financing facilities for major farming and agriculture operations.
