We are currently seeking the following positions to join our team:

Securities Associate with 2-5 years experience. The successful candidate will have experience with corporate commercial and securities transactions and will be involved in securities, corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions as well as commercial transactions for public companies.   

We offer an exciting work environment with direct exposure to challenging transactional work and client interaction.  Our lawyers are supported by a team of equally talented and committed administrative staff. Relevant experience, superior judgment and excellent interpersonal skills are required.  Multi-linguistic skills are an asset.  

We are currently offering a one year contract Legal Administrative Assistant position to provide support to our Litigation department.


  • Maintaining files; including daily filing, file organization, diary entries, opening files, closing files, etc.
  • Drafting pleadings, correspondence and legal documents
  • Organizing documents in preparation for trial and court hearings
  • Prioritizing workflow to ensure completion of accurate work within established time frames
  • Booking court dates and discoveries
  • Organizing and assembling chamber records, books of authorities, appeal records, appeal books and filing of same
  • Preparing list of documents
  • Billing and time-entry
  • Invoices
  • General administrative tasks

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant
  • Familiar with Supreme Court Civil Rules and Small Claim Rules
  • Good working knowledge of BCOnline, myLTSA and Court Services Online an asset
  • Graduate of a recognized Legal Administrative Assistant Program;
  • Exceptional ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities;
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
  • Excellent client service skills along with a positive attitude;
  • The ability to work independently and be resourceful while exercising good judgment;
  • Motivated and proactive mindset.
