The Commercial Real Estate & Development team works with a wide variety of clients, including private individuals and corporations, institutional and private landlords and tenants, developers, strata corporations, and liquidators. They also maintain excellent working relationships with local municipal governments.

Our lawyers have an in depth understanding of the requirements for preparing and filing disclosure statements under the Real Estate Development Marketing Act, and have worked on a number of strata corporation wind-ups.
Our lawyers have particular expertise in commercial leasing matters. They have experience in the preparation and negotiation of all types of leases, including industrial, office, retail, and First Nations leases. They also advise clients in connection with constructions, takeout and inventory financing, and the development and implementation of deal structures including joint ventures, co-ownership arrangements, and limited partnerships.
