Stephanie is a member of the Litigation / Dispute Resolution Team. She understands that each client requires personalized dispute solutions based on their unique circumstances and concerns. Stephanie provides care and candor when working with her clients, and is committed to providing practical and sensible legal advice for both routine and complex litigation matters.
Stephanie has efficiently settled a variety of dispute claims, and has the experience to navigate challenging disputes throughout every step of the legal process. She has appeared as junior and lead counsel before the B.C. Provincial and Supreme Courts on a number of commercial matters, including lengthy commercial lease and construction disputes. She also serves her clients by settling disputes in mediation and settlement conferences.
Stephanie primarily advises corporate and individual clients with commercial disputes, including commercial tenancy, construction, employment, and other contract disputes. She has experience providing the following services:
Advising on rights and remedies in commercial disputes
Alternative dispute resolution
Preparing demand letters
Initiating claims & defending claims
Preparing for and attending discoveries and trials
In addition to her professional work, Stephanie has volunteered for the Canucks Autism Network, Sole Girls, and the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society. While studying at the University of Victoria, she was an editorial board member for University’s law journal, APPEAL, and worked as an environmental law research assistant.
