Professional Experience:
Morley is a founding partner of the firm with over 50 years’ experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer acting for clients in a variety of industries. A few representative legal retains include acting for and on behalf of the creation of Canada Line and the financing thereof, special counsel for projects for BC Hydro and BC Lumber Trade Alliance and special counsel to the City of Vancouver with reference to the Olympic Village. Morley acts for numerous corporations and currently sits on the board of directors, being chairman of the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. Morley was appointed Queens Counsel in 1986.
