| Professional Experience: |
Leslie practices in the areas of banking and insolvency and commercial real estate. She acts for lenders on a wide range of financing transactions, including the preparation and negotiation of facility letters, loan agreements and security documents for construction loans, capital loans, operating lines and equipment leasing transactions for both local and cross-border transactions. In her commercial real estate practice, Leslie is involved in leasing transactions from both the tenant’s and landlord’s perspective, large land assemblies, subdivisions and developments (office, retail, hotel and residential), real estate acquisitions, financing, sales and structuring forms of ownership.
Leslie is a member of the Banking and Real Property sections of the Canadian Bar Association B.C. Branch. She is a contributor to various Continuing Legal Education publications including Commercial Leasing: Annotated Precedents, BC Mortgages Practice Manual, Real Estate Financing: Annotated Precedents and the Personal Property Security Act Practice Manual. |
