Some of Don's representative cases are as follows:
- Defended manufacturers in numerous product liability claims involving water ingress, fires, personal injury and damage to property;
- Counsel in commercial arbitrations in British Columbia and Alberta involving business disputes, contract disputes and commercial leases;
- Represented manufacturer-retailer in commercial litigation involving e-commerce agreement: Enterprising Minds Technology Consultants Inc. v. Lululemon Athletica Inc., 2006 BCSC 1168;
- Defended bank against claim for negligent misrepresentation in a construction financing case: B. Cusano Contracting Ltd. v. Bank of Montreal, 2006 BCCA 52, 2004 BCSC 1385;
- Counsel in numerous successful mediations in commercial cases and in disputes pursuant to the Timber Harvesting Contract and Subcontract Regulation of British Columbia;
- Defended franchisor against claim for breach of contract, negligence and breach of fiduciary duty regarding a franchise agreement and a commercial lease: Duhigh Holdings Ltd. v. 24 Hour Entertainment Group Ltd., 2004 BCSC 1689;
- Represented party in claim for dissolution of partnership and joint venture agreement for the acquisition and development of land: Carlson v. Sopow, 2004 BCSC 956, 2004 BCCA 612;
- Represented owner of commercial property in dispute with realtor regarding real estate commission: Colliers Macaulay Nicolls Inc. v. Park Georgia Properties Ltd., 2003 BCSC 1785;
- Defended theatre owner against wrongful death claim arising out of a shooting in a movie theatre: Mirhadi v. Famous Players Inc., 2002 BCSC 267;
- Defended employer against numerous claims arising out of employment agreement: Beauchamp v. Columbia College, 2001 BCSC 804;
- Represented third party in class action proceedings arising from the collapse of Eron Mortgage Corporation: Cooper v. Hobart, 2000 BCCA 151, (1999), 68 B.C.L.R. (3d) 293 (B.C.S.C.);
- Represented commercial strata owner in dispute arising out of strata shopping centre: KBK No. 181 Ventures Ltd. v. Lee, 1999 CarswellBC 722 (B.C.C.A.), (1998), 17 R.P.R. (3d) 256 (B.C.S.C.);
